Borrowing and Returns Policy

Purpose

The DVC Library’s Borrowing & Returns Policy supports our mission to provide resources, services, and spaces that help students achieve their educational and personal goals. Our policies are designed to promote access, belonging, equity, and collaboration for all users.

This policy outlines how students, faculty, and staff can borrow materials, use library spaces, and access technology and other resources.

For questions or concerns about library policies and procedures, please contact the library.

Overview

Students may borrow up to 20 items using either a DVC student ID or another valid photo ID along with their student ID number. Materials may be transferred between the Pleasant Hill and San Ramon campuses upon request.
