Student computers in the DVC Library offer a number of adaptive technologies which can help DSS students access and use content for DVC classes.
Kurzweil 3000: Enables conversion of print to electronic text, which can be read to the user. The program also offers a variety of study skills tools to make learning easy.
Dragon Naturally Speaking 9.0: Allows users to dictate and edit documents and emails using voice technology. Works with many Windows programs including Office 365 and Outlook. To use Dragon Naturally Speaking, ask for alibrary laptop at the circulation desk. This application is not installed on all library computers.

Zoomtext 9.0: Allows users to enlarge and enhance everything on a computer screen.
Jaws 9.0: Screen reader software reads aloud what is on the computer screen.
